Boat Builder

This STEM simulation engages students in the act of engineering design.  When the students first click on the simulation, they first see the challenge they have accepted from Boat Builder; then, by clicking through the step-by-step tabs, students are prompted through background information, methods to the simulation, the simulation itself, and a post-simulation assessment.  More specific to Boat Builder, students are challenged to design the most efficient boat for the conditions they are given; therefore, they must utilize the background information they are presented with along with their STEM knowledge in order to design their boat.
