French and Indian War

The French and Indian war was fought between Great Britain and New France. It was a part of a bigger war, called the Seven Years War. It took place in North America starting in 1754 and ending in 1763. These two countries were the most powerful in the world. Expansion of the British colonies in North America were threatening French territory and their trade routes. Trades were very important during this time to Native Americans and Europeans. Fur was the major trade they had.  This resources highlights the main facts and important events that happened during this time.
