This online resource provided by NASA allows both students and educators to visualize the global climate changes that have occurred around the world from 1884 through 2016. This resource would be appropriate for students of all ages; however, younger elementary aged students will need more scaffolding in order to understand the implications illustrated by the simulation. More specifically, this resource provides various filters that can be applied on top of the Earth in order to see more specific changes that have occurred. These filters include the following: sea ice, sea level, carbon dioxide, and global temperature.
The online simulation can be found here.
