Using Maps When Teaching Migration

Migration is such a broad topic that requires a knowledge of geography. This resource talks about the importance of using maps when teaching migration. Reading maps is a skill that all students are required to be proficient in because maps are used in everyday life. By using maps for this unit, students will be able to view the geography that is incorporated. Students may require some background knowledge on maps before using the maps for interpretations.
