This article titled, “Round and Round the Water Cycle” by Barabara A. Bradley, is a great resource for teachers. It is a complete unit described in detail surrounding the water cycle. What is very useful about the unit described, is that it is extremely engaging and hands-on. The students are the ones who are formulating questions and completing the activities in order to gain a better understanding of the water cycle. Each lesson that is included surrounds a different aspect of the water cycle that students can get excited about. The author also talks about how this can be used in both lower and upper grades, and how what is taught to younger students can be used as a building block for students in upper grades.
