The Water Cycle

ScienceNetLinks is a website where teachers can find science lessons for K-12. The lesson that I found is on the water cycle. This lesson is appropriate for students in 4th or 5th grade. This lessons purpose is to add to student’s knowledge on water and learn about the water cycle and its continuous flow around us. The lesson is organized with a purpose, context, planning ahead, motivation, development, assessment, and extension section so that it is very easy for teachers to understand and teach the lesson to their own class. There is also a section to the right of the website that lists the necessary materials and any activity sheets that are needed for the student and teacher.
