Interactive Cell Model

Teaching students the parts of plant and animal cells can often be confusing, as there are many parts of the cell you have to learn, along with the functions of each part. This website provides labeled interactive models for both plant and animal cells, allowing students to click on each part of the cell, then giving them detailed descriptions of that part. This website also has the option of listening to the descriptions out loud, which sometimes helps students understand and remember the material better. Visuals like those provided on this site are a great resource for confusing topics like labeling the parts of a cell. This site is appropriate for students of any age who are learning the parts of the cell, and can act as a great study tool.

You are so right, Rick. Back then, we didn’t have nearly the amount of informational material. Now it’s so overwhelming.
