The Shocking Story of Electricity (Young Readers Series)

This Young Readers Series book summarizes the history and science of electricity in a way that captures young readers right into the story line. This well-crafted story is appropriate for ages 7-9 and but does not exclude any scientific words and concepts, making the book an informative and resourceful. There is a nice balance between text and colorful illustration to help young readers visually imagine the information being taught. Teachers may use this book as a resource before teaching a lesson on circuits or electricity. It may be used as a resource for students if they were to research the history of electricity. This book is an amazing book to help young readers develop an understanding for electricity.
