This website was designed and created by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, which is also known as NASA. There are several examples of lesson plans for teachers to use for introducing astronomy. Also, the lesson plans have photos that the teachers can show to the students that can make real world connections that affect their daily lives. One unique aspect of this site is the teacher guide will give suggestions of how to change each of the lessons according to different grade levels. The lessons can be used for third grade and all the way to their senior year of high school. NASA also gives excellent additional resources for educators if they would like to find more information about a specific area in astronomy, like the NASA Earth Observatory. If you can, try to check out this site to see all the endless knowledge for your students to learn more about our planet and other planets.
