Measurement Made Easy

This link sends students to an interactive thermometer. When using the thermometer students can see the temperature in both celsius and fahrenheit with pictures that represent that temperature. i.e. 0 degrees celsius/32 fahrenheit shows a picture of ice and snow. There is also a quick conversion chart and a  rhyme for people to learn the basic commonalities behind temperature.

This link is to another page of the same website it is a simple to use page with descriptions and explanations of temperature. It can easily be used by students in grades 4 and 5 with the intention of basic research.  This website shows the conversion rates and explanations behind the two different measuring forms. There are also sample questions at the end for students to read.
