Climate Kids is an entertaining and resourceful website for children to explore and learn about climate and was created by NASA. This website includes links for students to explore topics such as weather and climate, air, ocean, fresh water, carbon, energy, plants and animals, and technology through engaging games, trivia, video clips, and text. There is also a “Make Stuff” tab where students can find links to create different things such as a stained glass leaf and and their own mini terrarium garden which is great for students to get hands on experience and create lasting things that they can use every day and work with in their daily lives. There is also a tab for “teaching about climate change” which provides links to different galleries related to different topics that give teachers examples of activities that align with the common core standards.
