A Triarama is a small diorama that is in the shape of a pyramid that allows students to showcase what they know about a particular topic. For the Revolutionary War, students would decorate each section of the Triarama with events that either lead up to or surround the War to demonstrate their understanding of the war. This is a great tool that can be used for almost any subject in social studies and is fun and easy to make. I would recommend this project for upper level elementary grades. They allow for students to show their creativity while also demonstrating their understanding of more difficult concepts and ideas in Social Studies. This website shows how to construct the Triaramas and shows some examples made by students using the Revolutionary War.
