“All Work and No Play”

Learning about physics, there are many different terms to learn and equations to remember. One the is a frequent mystery to students old and new is the concept of “work”. It is easy to get it confused with the common idea of work, so Physics 4 Kids is a great resource to refresh your memory on this concept. They do a really great job of using kid friendly language that is both humorous and engaging for students of any age. The authors crafted each explanation with care as they explain what joules, transfers, and states are. What is even better is they take the same care when they explain the mathematical equations for states and work. At the bottom of the page they give resources to get more information including links to Encyclopedia Britannica, a YouTube video, and other web pages on their website that would benefit the reader.
