This website is a written out lesson guideline simple machines. It is not set in stone, and allows the teacher to make it more inquiry based should they choose to do so. It delves into each of the 6 simple machines and allows students to explore the basic elements of everyday machinery by means of accessing prior knowledge and letting students explore the materials. This lesson can also be flipped on its head, where the students work with models first and try to figure out how they work.
