This website is a great site for students, but also a great help to teachers as well. There are multiple links on the page that bring the viewer to helpful things such as: the moon calendar for the current year, tips of how to see the moon, an animation of the moon going through phases, and many more! The website is organized in a clear, easy-to-read design and lists a limited amount of information to prevent the student from being overwhelmed with information. The website includes general, basic information about the moon and the phases including the following: What is the phase of the moon? What causes the different phases? and why does part of the moon become lit up?. Great for students and a great quick teacher tool to use during an interactive lesson on a SmartBoard, or something alike.
