This 200 page book is filled with facts about famous historical figures, events, and black and white illustrations and photographs about American History.  The format  chronologically arranged and makes it easy locate a particular time period.  The book discusses slogans, famous terms, laws, treaties, well-know people, mistakes that were made, literature, music, economic conditions, etc.  This book provides a historic overview and provides interesting tidbits that will enable an individual to engage in meaningful conversations about American history.
