What is WebBib??

WebBib is a database containing citations for K-8 teaching resources, with annotations for each citation. Students in Dr. Hester’s ELD-376 course contribute to WebBib through constructing a file of web-based and bibliographic materials that will support them in teaching a variety of topics to elementary school children. Each WebBib entry includes a citation and an annotation that indicates how the cited source would be useful to a teacher. A source could be a lesson plan, supplementary material for a lesson, or reference material for the teacher to learn more about a particular topic before teaching it. WebBib contains sources from the Rider University Library online database, the Rider Curriculum Resource Center, public school media centers, and a multitude of websites.

How to use WebBib:

  • Search for specific topics by typing keyword(s) into the search box.
  • Select a topic in the Categories, listed on the right side of the page.
